A Few of Our Projects

One of our 4 display ponds here, the remodeled cement pond is approximately 10 X 15. This is the most popular pond size in the United States. Notice the Savio skimmer in the background, which was brand new in the summer of 2002. You can also see several of our hardy water lilies which return every year. In the foreground is one of our imported Japanese granite lanterns. These are the perfect accent pieces for around the watergarden, and are available in several different shapes and sizes. A few of them are drilled for lights, but you can add a light to almost all of them and run them off the same timer as your pond lights.

Pictured here is another view of the cement pond. Although we refer to it as the "cement pond", it is rubber-lined like all of our other ponds. Originally constructed in 1927 by Mark's uncles out of concrete, we lined it and added the skimmer and waterfall in the spring of 2001. Water spills out of the waterfall into a smaller pool- you can see a portion of it here with the water hyacinth in it- and then spills again into the pond, which you can see beautifully in this picture. Hardy water iris is visible in the background, which adds a nice contrast to the floating plants.

We install large and small ponds!

This is the very first pond that Mark constructed. It was done in the winter/early spring of 1998. You can see it when you're visiting here right across the driveway at his parent's house. It is ideally located in the backyard, adjacent to the Four Seasons sunroom and wooden deck. Eva has several large butterfly koi that make their home here along with numerous frogs and birds. This is a gorgeous head-on view of the waterfall spilling into this 13' X 21' pond.
